What we believe

Jude 1:3

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

The Bible

The Bible is the holy word of God compiled into a single book. It contains 66 books all together,39 from the old testament and 27 from the new testament. We solely believe in the Bible as the complete instructions of God and we completely disregard any-other supposed scriptures not compiled in the Bible as what we must believe.

The God-Head

We believe the God-Head consists of the Father, the Son(Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. They are unique personalities united as one.

(2 Corinthians 13:14, Mathew 28:19, John 15:26)

The Unblemished Virgin Conception and Birth of Jesus

The Holy-Ghost overshadowed Mary the mother of Jesus before she was espoused to Joseph which ultimately led to the conception and the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus.

(Isaiah 7:14,Mathew 1:18-25)

The sinful nature of all humans

Every human is conceived and born a sinner, making us the enemies of God by birth.

(Psalm 51:5, Roman 3:23)

Repentance

We believe that a true repentance involves first , a recognition and acknowledgement of our sinful nature, asking Christ for forgiveness, followed by a complete change of attitude, behavior and lifestyle to mirror the attitude and lifestyle of Jesus.

(Psalm 32:5, Act 3:19)

Justification

We believe that justification is a work of Grace passed down to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When we confess our sins and believe in Jesus, we become justified by faith in His atonement on the cross of Calvary making us to appear before God as though we have never sinned. This justification cannot be attained by works but by faith only.

(Psalm 32:1,2, Act 13:38)

Water Baptism

This is an important act of obedience to Gods command after repentance and it must be done in the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy-Ghost in one immersion in water. We also believe that baptism must be done during the age of accountability when the fellow is able to understand good from evil and when he or she fully understands the what and why of water baptism.

(Mathew 28:19, Mathew 3:13-17, Act 8:12)

Sanctification

We believe that after repentance and acceptance of Jesus as our Lord and Savior, sanctification occurs through the work of grace of Jesus Christ on the cross. It means being set apart for Christ which is reflected in the holiness and purity of heart and minds to Godly living that is indicative of the life of Christ.

The Lords Supper

The Lord supper must be observed in purity of heart, guilt free heart and conscience toward God. Anyone who partakes in the Lord supper with sin and iniquity in their lives invites sickness and diseases to their lives. The Lord supper is a command from Jesus Christ for us to observe regularly in remembrance of him. The emblem of the Lords supper is the bread(Unleavened) which signifies the body of Christ and the wine(fruit of the vine only)which signifies his blood.

Holy Ghost Baptism

We believe that an empowerment from Heaven comes upon a saved and sanctified person. This empowerment from heaven upon the life of a saved and sanctified person comes with an initial proof of speaking in an unknown language to the person. We are against the teaching of speaking in tongues, it cannot be thought or faked, it is the direct work of the Holy-Ghost and it is reserved solely for saved and sanctified Christians.

Divine Healing from all diseases

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ brought to everyone divine cure from all diseases. This divine cure cannot be paid for or earned through works. The divine miracle often requires some level of faith to occur but God in His infinite grace and mercy could heal an ailing person who has no faith.

(Exodus 15:26, Isaiah 53:4,5 Mark 16:17,18)

Evangelism

We believe that everyone has been called to be a soul winner. A believer in Jesus Christ must extend the goodness that got him or her saved to sinners. We believe that this is not reserved for some but is mandatory for all.

(Mark 16:15,Mathew 28:19,20)

Marriage

We believe that marriage is an holy institution instituted by God. It must be between a man and a woman, no exceptions, it is binding for life as long as both persons are alive.

It is a sin to divorce your partner for whatever reasons except it is for adultery, and even in the case of adultery we encourage proper reconciliation rather than divorce.

A person who married wrongly before becoming a Christian but immediately make restitution by existing the sinful marriage upon conversion to Christianity.

Rapture

This is the event that signifies the first phase of the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. This time, he will appear in the cloud and every eyes will see him while he takes away his living saints and those who slept in the dust of the earth(dead saints). This event can happen any moment from now

(John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonian 4:13-18,Revelations 1:7)

The resurrection of the dead

We believe that during the rapture, every dead person who has ever lived will be raised to life, some to everlasting glory with Jesus and some to Everlasting shame with the devil and his angels forever and ever.

(John 5:28,29)

The great tribulation

This is a period of immense suffering on earth when a man who will be mysterious in nature with supernatural powers will appear and seize control of the world power. He as a singular person , not an institution will wield all the power on earth. He will blaspheme the name of the Most High and terrorize the lives of those left behind on earth after the rapture. We believe that the tribulations will be in place here on earth while the marriage supper of the lamb occurs above with Christ and his saints.

The second coming of Christ

We believe Christ will descend on earth again to execute justice on the wicked on earth. We believe he will seize power on earth and establish his millennial reign on earth.

(2 Thessalonian 1:7-10, Jude 14,15)

Christ Millennial reign

This is the period where Christ will establish his reign on earth for 1000 years in the presence of his saints. There shall be no sin during these years because the devil will be in chains for the whole 1000 years.

(Revelations 20:1-6)

The great white throne judgement

This is the great day, God, the judge of all will execute judgment on everyone(those who have not been judged yet) according to our works. The devil and his angels will also at this time be judge and thrown into the lake of fire forever and ever.

(Revelations 20:11-15, Hebrews 9:27)

The New Heaven and New Earth

We believe that a new Heaven new Earth will come down from God. This current earth already polluted with sin will pass away and the dwelling of God will be with men. There shall be no more sorrow or weeping and there will be no light like the sun, God Himself will be our light.

(Revelations 21)

The Lake of fire

This is the final destination of the devil, his angels and those who reject the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
